The sternum strap has come loose – what can I do?

The sternum strap has been deliberately designed so that it can be removed by unthreading it from the drawstrings.
Many people prefer not to use a sternum strap.
The pocket in the shoulder strap is designed to hold the sternum strap, so you can find it again if you decide to remove it.

The sternum strap is usually designed so that both ends can be detached from the shoulder straps.
You can also reattach them.
Do this by pulling the ends into the piping from above.
With older backpack models, you do not need to insert the strap into the piping from above, but from below.
When attaching it, you should position the plastic fastener at a slight angle to the piping so that it slides over more easily.
